To us our appetite for travel mirrors our travel for appetite. From February 16 we travel to South America and Africa for 5 months where we will encounter some amazing mountain treks, ruins at Machu Picchu, dancing the tango and devouring an Argentinian Steak with a hardy glass of red wine...

I just want to say that after readings some of your blog entires and looking at some of your photos, I'm not in the least bit jealous. Nope, not at all. In fact, I'm so glad I'm still here in London. I mean, yesterday we had a glorious sunny day. Well, until it poured down with rain... And today it's been really nice too, although it's forecast to rain later... Why would we want to go to Brazil?!?!

funny you mention the rain...we detoured 15 hours to a caostal town and it rained for 2 days! so we left for an equally nice coastal town with sun and beaches in Uruguay - Punta Del Este.
missed your calling simo, I can see you writing for the age hotel/b&b guide upon your return to aus! classic, what about the bed bugs, gotta love the bed bugs, ohh what about rats had any of them yet?
